That’s what I was thinking. Sort of like my asking if I can take a photo to use for online and then getting their autograph would be like a nice way of getting a signed permission slip.

Yeah. Before I take their photo I will tell them my plans of posting it online and asking them if I could take their photo.

An interesting idea – a good way to engage your subjects. Would you be asking their permission first before you photograph?

I was thinking it might add a bit of personal touch. And make like I wanted to take their portrait for myself and not just because I wanted to take a portrait of someone.

Strangers. Though less candid more sitter. And the book would just be for me. Sort of like signatures of famous people, only it’s signatures of people I have photographed.

I’ve never heard of a signature book? Are you talking about on-the-street candids of strangers, or actual portrait-sitters?
